Job Description

Main responsibility:
 To design new high-quality fluid control products (valves and sub systems) for customers in APAC, released on time and to cost targets – primarily traditional powertrain, new energy vehicles, and hydrogen fuel cell stack.
 Support APAC CV customers with technical enquiries related to our products.
 Support commission and test of products at CV customer sites.
 Work with cross functional teams to develop CV products and get into production.
 Cost calculations, tolerance studies, report writing, and design test programs.
 Production of 3D CAD solid models, 2D CAD part, and assembly drawings.
 Design Failure Mode Effect Analysis (DFMEA);
 Coordination of prototyping and testing;
 Qualifying designs utilizing regulations established by UL, ASTM, ISO, customer specifications, and engineering standards established by ***;
 Organize resource to deliver high performance solution for different sector and keep good project management.

Requirements:
 Knowledge or experience with components on balance of plant for PEMFC.
 Thermo management products and system experience on new energy vehicles.
 Commercial Vehicle Engine Control Component Design Knowledge – for example: EGR, Exh Brake, AIT, Turbo Waste Gate, SCR, water pump, turbo charger, cylinder head.
 Bachelor or master’s degree in mechanical, Automotive, Engineering or Mechatronics.
 APQP Process and tools or equivalent.
 3D & 2D Drafting skills in Autodesk Inventor or equivalent.
 Design calcs – stress, temp, flow, tolerance studies etc
 Selection of suitable materials and surface finishes
 Teamwork & Concise communication
 Fluent in English – sufficient for discussions with colleagues from different countries
 3-5 years’ experience on design and testing of components with at least 3 years on CV Engines and control systems or fluid control on new energy vehicles or fluid management on PEMFC is plus.
 Knowledge of electrics and control algorithm is a plus.
