Overview:
the role encompasses the design and implementation of control and reporting processes. More specifically, the role is responsible for ensuring where decisions involve shareholder interests are to be made, proper processes take place and decisions are taken in accordance with the Delegation of Authority.

What you will be doing:
• You will ensure the integrity of the reporting of Financial results under different accounting conventions.
• You will promote and ensure the existence of proper internal control environment.
• You will develop your leadership skills and coordinate the preparation of business plans, and preparation of management information
• You will protect the company’s via compliance of JV agreement, Code of Conduct, participation in daily investment decisions and management team meetings.
• You will work closely with the Acetyls business in decisions relating to shareholder interest. The role is accountable for JV planning in the Finance organization.
• You will work with the Acetyls IT team to ensure correct IT controls are in place within the Joint venture.
• You will strengthen your skills in managing, building and maintaining the relationship between the company and the JV’s local bankers and external advisors
• You will co-ordinate tax matters between the JV and its partners.

what you will bring to the role:
• You hold a bachelor degree and an MBA degree is preferred. CICPA or ACCA (or equivalent) is desirable.
• You acquire 10 years working experience in Finance related area and possess the ability to make connections with the JV partner is the key in the success of this role.
• You have experiences in maintaining and building complex JV partner relationships. The role requires the ability to manage conflicting priorities with a JV.
• You can network effectively with the JV partners, Acetyls BU Control team, and with the Asian Manager.
• You are capable of leading, influencing and coaching the JV staff to develop and implement best accounting and financial management models and building a strong control and assurance environment and team in order to underpin the growth of the JV business.
