Our client is a leading global Software Solutions and Business Applications and Technology company.

As Mobile Architect, you will be responsible for driving the architectural conversation from the China Mobile site. You will be leading the China Mobile teams’ technical efforts and be a key player in rearchitecting the application, drive new Innovation and defining technical debt as well as absorption of
new technology. You will be responsible to guide and lead a large team of engineers from the technical perspective. You will have the opportunity to be engaged with both mobile architects across the mobile world as well as Chief Technical leaders

• Expert in Android and/or iOS
o Proof of work (e.g. github open source contributions) or worked on high grade public apps (e.g. WhatsApp, Facebook, LinkedIn)
• Expert understanding of Unit testing, Expresso testing and Mobile Automation Test and CI/CD for Mobile
• Proven record of driving architectural changes
• Strong proven record of providing architectural leadership to a group of lead engineers and using both influence and decision making
• Strong proven record of provide technical communications to both highly technical and nontechnical people.
• Expert in Modern Mobile Architecture as well as software design patterns to ensure the productivity, maintainability and scalability
• Expert in Mobile Native UI, Networking, Persistency, Multithreading, performance, push notifications, concurrency, offline storage and Security.
• Experienced in driving good practices, code reviews and mentor people in writing maintainable and scalable mobile code as well as documentation
• Experience driving a technical vision with non-Mobile technical people

Nice to have
• Working knowledge of backend technologies
• Android, iOS, Ruby, Java, HTML5, CSS3, and other mobile frameworks/accelerators
• Experienced in cloud application and understand the cloud operation model; expertise in public cloud is a plus
