Key Responsibilities:
1. Part of Legal Team supporting the Head of Legal, in:
o Provide legal advisory to internal stakeholders on contractual matters, risks, and compliance issues.
o Interpret and explain complex legal concepts in a clear and concise manner to non-legal colleagues.
o Assist in resolving contractual disputes and conflicts, working towards favourable resolutions.
o Draft legal letters to authorities, stakeholders and representing the company as needed.
o Manage site level projects.
o Collaborate with functions on matters related to employment, tax, company secretarial, customs etc.
o Other ad hoc duties as assigned.
2. Contracts Management:
o Draft and negotiate various contracts, including supplier contracts, services contracts, Inter-company and licensing agreements.
o Oversee the entire contract lifecycle, ensuring timely renewals and compliance with terms and conditions.
o Efficiently handle the entire contract lifecycle, from creation to execution
o Review contracts to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to established internal policies and legal standards.
o Support standardization, updating and administration on contracts.
o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align contracts with organizational goals and objectives.
3. Compliance and Risk Management:
o Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations relevant to contracts and corporate operations.
o Conduct risk assessments on contracts and recommend strategies to mitigate potential legal risks.
o Develop, implement, and administer internal policies and procedures to ensure compliance with laws.
4. Training and Education:
o Conduct training sessions to enhance employee awareness on legal matters and best practices.
o Foster a culture of compliance and ethics within the organization.
