Job Description

Key Job Elements
The Key Job Elements Include:
• Keep abreast of EV technical and product developments
• Identifies and comprehends global EV customer needs, applications, and desired features sets, and drives product requirement changes and enhancements through the established processes
• Lead technical EV product discussions with internal customer integration and sales teams
• Lead technical EV product discussions with external engineering and sales teams as required
• Communicates and educates OEMs about E-axle requirements
• Communicates and educates team about EV development at OEMs
• Works closely with customers to identify technical and scheduling requirements, proposes solutions, and supports validation of customer’s applications. Activities may include, but are not limited to:
o Use analytical tools to optimize EV powertrain configuration and provide recommendations to OEM
o Installation reviews
o Calibration development
o Vehicle testing such as integration, driveability, optimization, etc.
o Data collection and analysis
o Support OEM release process requirements
o Customer supplier development for support equipment



Qualifications required:
• 5-10 years’ experience with vehicle systems development
• Be familiar with electric vehicle system architecture, motor and inverter, and controller integration, understand commercial or automobile electronic product system design and power line system, and be able to develop system requirement specification.
• Be familiar with vehicle system, working principle and characteristics of motor, transmission and inverter parts and systems; understand vehicle system and common controller, load function and characteristics;
• Understand electric drive bench test or engine powertrain bench test, and understand various bench tests of controller product development;
• Ability to use and interpret analytical techniques to verify or select alternative design approaches
