Job Description
Position purpose
Guides all employees in his/her area of responsibility to fully comply with all
worldwide applicable QM and EHS related laws, regulations and sanctions
legislations of China where the client carries out its business
Responsibilities, tasks, and duties
Disciplinary and functionally reports to his/her entity Head, and the Global
QEHS Officer
Must be notified of all IMS relevant business operations by the
appropriate managers (Quality, EHS, Operations)
Implements global QEHS rules-based, e.g., requirements for;
ISO certificates
Processes (all company processes, including sales, procurement,
delivery and performance, service and IT procedures), including
QEHS approval/preparation for approval as directed by valid client’s
regulations
Information, awareness, and communications in terms of QEHS (IMS)
Training and training programs, in cooperation with the HR department
Design and preparing quality manual and work instructions for office, shop
floors, supply chain (purchasing, warehouse, inspections), suppliers,
reviews, audits, self-assessments and spot checks reporting
Documentation / archiving, monitoring controlled documents
Contacts with authorities and associations
Supplier quality assurance, quality control shop floor, EHS control company
Must observe the nationally applicable laws and regulations as appropriate and
- if necessary - must issue specific IMS (quality, EHS) directives for the
organization (e.g., work instructions) in his or her area of responsibility
Advises relevant managers for QEHS topic

MS Office (PowerPoint presentations, Excel calculations, Word meeting

Training and presentation skills
Mechanical, electrical, electronic background, able to measure and evaluate
defects, quality status, understand the language of engineers and workers

Experience and skills
2 - 3 years’ experience within “IMS” or “Quality” or “EHS” related Department
or Organization
At least 2 years’ experience working in operative business or corporate
function
At least 1-year experience working in International Exposure/Work Experience
At least 3 years’ experience work experience in own field of expertise, e.g.,
quality control, quality management, EHS management, supplier quality
engineering, supplier development
1 - 2 years’ experience managing (quality) employees
Strong knowledge of QA tools
FMEA (product, manufacturing)
Mind mapping of complex processes
The hands-on mentality in QA questions
Root cause analysis methods (e.g., 5Why)
Supplier management, in cooperation with the purchasing department
Presentation and Training Skills
Benchmarking
Project management, Communication skills
Risk Management, Business Understanding
Education
Bachelor or University degree in material science, quality management,
engineering, environment/health/safety, or comparable education in
own field of expertise
Languages
Native/fluent oral and written communication skills in Mandarin
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English, technical
language skills, daily communication level, negotiations, reporting, video
conferencing
