Recently, RGF International Recruitment has released the 6th edition of the RGF Insight Infographics, focusing on the adoption and challenges of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in workplaces across Mainland China, Japan, Singapore, and India. Based on survey responses, the report highlights how professionals in different countries approach AI usage, trust, and organizational attitudes.
The findings show that Mainland China and Japan lead in daily AI usage, while Singapore records the highest abandonment rate and India demonstrates hesitancy. Chinese respondents overwhelmingly use AI for writing assistance, whereas Indian professionals show a stronger preference for data analysis tools. Across countries, the prevailing trust model is "validated usage," where users rely on AI insights but still apply their own judgment.
At the organizational level, Indian companies are the most proactive in embracing AI, while Chinese companies take a more cautious approach. Japan records the highest rejection rate, while Singapore maintains a balanced stance. In terms of challenges, uneven adoption within teams is prominent in Singapore and Japan, India struggles with training and resource shortages, and China's concerns mainly center around output quality and reliability.
By comparing trends across the four countries, this edition provides valuable insights into how AI is reshaping the workplace in Asia and offers references for both companies and professionals navigating future work practices.
