Job Description

Main Responsibilities

Brand Strategy
Work closely with global brand franchise leaders to understand the global marketing strategies and campaigns, so you can adapt and localize them based on China’s business needs and priorities
Work side by side with the commercial team to understand the product roadmap and priorities, so you can develop the annual marketing plan for both brands
Leverage as much as possible global campaigns and materials; adapt them and localize them as needed to meet the local needs. You will become the brand custodian to ensure that the global brand equity is consistent across materials developed for China
Develop a content strategy for the brands mainly focused on digital channels by having a good understanding of the brand’s end users and preferred channels
Design campaigns that are user centric, by understanding the brands’ target audiences and develop compelling messages across channels
Content development
Develop brand/new product launch toolkits that will be used by multi-functional teams. This will be mainly adapting global materials to local needs
Develop ecommerce content and digital assets ensuring they are consistent to the brand’s guidelines
Update content for brand websites, including new product launches, educational materials, product information, etc
Develop a monthly report to summarize the content and brand materials developed, including the performance of this content in terms of user engagement.
Work with the in-house agency and external agencies to develop content assets to support campaigns
Market insights and user understanding
Monitor competitive trends and identify opportunities to grow our brands
Understand the brand’s target audience and monitor their consumption of content to continuously improve the development of content and formats selected
Drive continuous end-user acquisition and understanding
Develop holistic campaigns focused on end-user acquisition and growing revenue
Identify and calendarize content to activate end user engagement at a regional and local level
Key Metrics For Success
Increase brand awareness and share of voice
Increase brand visibility across social media channels
Increase brand sentiment
Measure the impact on sales behind brand initiatives
WHAT YOU ARE GREAT AT
At least 8-10 years related experience as Brand or Marketing Manager.
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing (Preferred) or equivalent. Masters/MBA is a plus.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Background in developing marketing strategies, marketing plans and launching new products
Experience with campaign design, omnichannel implementation and evaluation/assessment
Knowledge and understanding of Digital Marketing
Strong analytical skills including the handling of financial data
Ability to develop and manage budgets, pricing strategies and ROI analysis
Experience managing and coaching people
Experience/knowledge in Power Tools Business is a plus
High energy level and highly motivated. A self-starter.
Ability to multi-task, problem-solve, and prioritize in a fast-paced working environment.
Leader by influence: Strong leadership skills and demonstrated success in guiding, directing, motivating and mentoring local counterparts
Lead strategically and proactively by example with a hands-on approach.
Brand Knowledge: Understands product, users, motivations, and barriers
