My client is an US leading Tier 1 OEM for aerospace induatry.
Senior Supply Chain Analyst in the Procurement team is responsible for purchasing materials, components and finished assemblies to support production requirements from manufacture facilities.
Responsibilities:
As a key member of our purchasing team, your focus will be on:
•Manage the purchasing activities with assigned supplier following established purchasing policies and procedures to meet internal sites manufacture build requirement
• Placing and coordinating Orders (based on MRP Messages)
• Ensuring On-Time-Delivery
• Creating and submitting Blanket Orders to suppliers (in coordination with Strategic Purchasing)
• Supplier evaluation based on regular analyses and evaluations
• Clarification of deviations in deliveries in cooperation with Quality Team Luebeck, SQE in Shanghai and Suppliers
• Handling of complaints / Order returns
• Create and process Product Deviation Requests (PDR's) and Non-Conformance-Reports (NCR's) in iQMS
• Master data maintenance [updating prices and conditions (in coordination with Strategic Purchasing)]
• Customs value review
• Invoice review / Workflow Process
• Creation of Supplier Charge Backs
• Participation at team boards
• Support for projects (in cooperation with Strategic Purchasing)
• Responsible for operational activities, taking care of project sourcing, award business to supplier, on time delivery and supplier performance to meet business target
• Management of relationships with internal customers and stakeholders to provide the best overall outcomes from local region supply chain, technical, commercial or logistical
• Be Core Champion to take lead on continues improvement activities ,such as process efficiency, on time delivery , cost saving, performance improvement and logistic optimization
• Assist in the development, maintenance and update of regional departmental procedures, site specific process build up, improvement and implementation
• Provides directions, support and guidance to other team members, and take lead on report summary and regular business review with internal customers
Requirements:
• Speak/Write German is must
• Minimum of 5 year supply chain working experiences in manufacture industry, preferably in aerospace background
• Experience working with ERP , super user is preferable
