Job Description

Main tasks and responsibilities:
The Key account Sales Manager, municipal is responsible for developing and maintaining key account
customers in China for all product lines including Tetra filtration, ClorTec OSHG(on-site hypo
generator), Capital Control ozone products and other assigned products applied in municipal water/wastewater treatment and securing orders for these products in accordance to certain quotas.

• Develops, identify who are the key account customers and implements plans to increase market share of
each product lines (disinfection and filtration systems) in China through communications with
various clients such as related government divisions, water group companies, Project Owners, end users,
Design Institute and Engineering firms, Contractors including distributors/resellers or sales representatives
• Seeks out prospective projects and opportunities directly or through sales channels and when necessary
recommends the development of new and alternate sales channels
• Write and present reports in English that will be reviewed by management
• Drives the process to find and develop major projects or new opportunities by developing sales strategies
with company’s sales management and external sales representatives’ network, or by direct selling
• Establishes and maintains strong relationships with key purchasing influences
• Keeps company management informed of business conditions, which may affect assigned product or
• Provides external leadership for the assigned product or market by actively participating in trade shows,
equipment seminars and training activities
• Ensures that profit margins are maximized for the assigned product by offering opinions and strategies
needed to successfully close orders at the highest possible margin
• Tracks status of projects including the update of the Company’s sales database software preparing
spreadsheets and reports that show, monthly business activities and project status
• Maintains close contact with client’s key person(s) throughout the project development stage, proposal
stage, the final selection process and during the closing of the order
• Procures all necessary documents in order to allow company to review a project and submit bids
• Requests and or guides the company to complete bid forms, bond requests, contract checklists, etc. including expediting appropriate corporate signatures
• Provides technical and commercial direction for proposals
• Assists in the development of written materials, proposals and price quotations
• Attends pre-bid and site meetings whenever necessary
• Presents the proposals to potential clients
• Conduct and finalize in full autonomy and according to the company’ guidelines, contractual negotiations with Purchasing Entities such as Tender Committees and Purchasing Officers for Public and Private sectors
• Directly be involved and held responsible for securing orders in accordance to company’ guidelines
• Performs follow-up with clients to ensure that performance of the product and company is satisfactory
• Assists in evaluation of lost projects in order to increase contract wins
• Understands and adheres to all company health and safety procedures as they relate to essential job
• Makes sales presentations to potential clients, consultants, EPC’s and general contractors, resellers and or distributors.
• Pro-actively calls assigned customers to maintain communication within a framework of established sales objectives. The product or service is technically complex requiring specialized application knowledge and custom pricing.

Education and professional experience:
• University degree and above 5 years’ experience in Sales activity in municipal water/wastewater treatment
is required
• Deep knowledge of water/wastewater treatment process is preferred
• Strong sales skills and rich experiences in direct selling is preferred
• Effective written and verbal communication skills in English and the local language
• Proved track record of successful sales experience and achievements in municipal water/wastewater
treatment market.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Must be able to work with minimal direct supervision
• Must be self-sufficient as very little or no administrative assistance is offered
• Experience in advanced/tertiary water/wastewater treatment process is desirable but not essential
