Purpose of the Position: (must to fill)
• Technical support for Mobile Emissions Business in China including gasoline and diesel ceramic monolithic substrates and filters. This includes supporting customer’s technical activities and projects, resolution of quality issues, promotion of new products, validation of new processes.
Day to Day Responsibilities: (must to fill)
• Serve as primary technical contact for the customer, manage and execute day-to-day technical activities at the account (in cooperation with Account Manager);
• Understand customer technology road map, platform information and quality requirements for products; ensure understand the customer’s needs;
• Effectively communicate product value proposition to customer.
• Define and deploy current product/support portfolio that matches the customer’s needs; provide customer solutions, and coordinate coating/canning trials from the side during design-in;
• Understand customer development process and validation test, monitor customer’s system progress (substrates, filters, catalysts, canning, controls, etc);
• Negotiate/maintain product specifications and ensure internal agreement on all specifications and requirements; support plants to get customer approval for new product and changes;
• Responsible for resolution of quality & field event related OEM issues;
• Build good working relationship with OEMs and also supply chain members at all levels
• Collect competitor activities and status
