Job Description

My client is a leading steel and metallurgical equipment company. They have been designing, producting and selling state-of-the-art equipment to steel mills, foundries for years. They have set operations in China for quite some time too and enjoy a high reputation in the market. The role leads a team of 10, consisting of Finance, IT, HR and Admin. The responsibilities would be as below,
• Implements global Finance, Controlling, HR and Compliance instructions
• Gives financial related advice to company department manager
• Maintain cash flow by reviewing banking activity and reconciling monthly reports
• Develop and interpret databases and financial models
• Establish, monitor and achieve company financial goals
• Manage company budget and identify potential areas of cost savings
• Promote continuous improvement program in specified budget areas
• Implement reporting for production, productivity and quality standards
• Monitor credit and collection applications
• Direct and coordinate activities with the accounting department using PRC and USGAAP accounting principles
• Prepare Budget and financial forecast/projections
• Responsible for the accurate and timely preparation and submission of all required monthly, quarterly and yearly reporting packages.
• Compare performance with operating plans. Provides reports and interprets the results of operation to management. This includes the formulation of accounting policies, the preparation of financial statements and operating data, the coordination of systems and procedures and special reports as required.
• Prepares for audits of Company’s accounts.
• Follow and comply with all safety and work rules and regulations. Maintain departmental housekeeping standards.
• Ensure smooth HR operation and processes, like payroll, contracts, recruiting, training, and compensation
• Update and develop HR-related company regulations, guidelines and handbooks
• Drive HR projects together with General Management and Group HR in order to increase employee satisfaction and productivity
• Implement modern performance management tools and improves leadership culture
• Act as central point of contact for external partners and stakeholders like unions, law-firms, recruiting partners etc.
