Responsible for the installation, configuration, management, maintenance and tunning of hardwares, operation systems and related infrastructures. Moreover, some operation development should be delivered also for operation automation and providing enhancement also.
Notes: Sometimes require working evenings and weekends with little advanced notice.
Requirements:
Background&Skills
• Bachelor or above degree in a technical major, such as computer science or related.
• Familiar with linux, at least 2 years experience on linux system management, with windows experience is a plus
• Familiar with at least two script languages, such as shell script, python, perl and etc. More is better.
• Familiar with common network protocols and services, VPN is a plus.
• Familiar with common storage technologies like NFS, iSCSI,FC and etc.
• Have the hardware knowledge related to x86 server, storage and network devices, such as storage array and L2/L3 switch.
• Have the ability to troubleshoot hardware and operation system failures.
• System engineer certification in linux is a plus, such as RHEL/RHCA, SCLP/SCLE and etc.
• The cloud computing (host and storage) knowledge is a plus.
• Development experience is a plus.
• Knowledge about distributed file system is a plus.
