Definition of the manufacturing cell concept, layout, MTM and investment estimation
Analyse manufacturing feasibility from welding and assembly perspective, providing solutions and product improvements / product design changes.
Support quotation process during new business activities, identifying the most suitable solution in terms of assembly process and economics.
Develop prototype process requirements, and support prototype builds to enable learning and feedback.
Support industrialization phase, supplier follow-up and equipment set-up

Qualified to degree or equivalent level in Engineering, Industrial or Manufacturing related subject.
Experience in processes such as welding, assembly, machining, piercing. Experience in Aluminium welding would be beneficial
Knowledge of high volume manufacturing techniques, robotic welding, post fabrication assembly processes, machining, and piercing.
Knowledge and experience of working to automotive OEM program procedures and standards.
Availability to travel and be assigned to programme support activities as required.
Good computer literacy specifically Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, CATIA
