KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
4.1. Provides specific technical expertise to support product and process improvements
4.2. Establishes specific manufacturing capability/ technology to support transfers and new product introduction
4.3. Applies state–of-the art process technology to support improved customer service COGS reduction
4.4. Establish local supplier network to assure world class quality, delivery and cost for components and materials
4.5. Provides technical input to special project teams; coordinates support to pilot operations as required
4.6. Follow all company safety policies and other safety precautions within the work area
4.7. Supports supplier evaluations for major services/products as needed
4.8. **Follow J&J and EES Records Management Policies for Convenience Information, Records Retention Schedules, Training and Education, Document Hold Notices, Records Cleanout, Inactive Records and Information Management, Vital Records and third party vendor if applicable.
4.9. Other responsibilities may be assigned and not all responsibilities listed may be assigned

2. EDUCATION / DEGREE REQUIRED:
2.1 Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Technical discipline
3. KEY SKILL / KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:
3.1. SKILL SETS:
3.1.1 Bilingual: English/ Spanish preferred
3.1.2 GMP/ ISO knowledge preferred
3.1.3 Knowledge of analytical and statistical measurements systems and problem solving techniques
3.1.4 Knowledge of product and process design and development; materials and standardization science and applied statistics
3.2. COMPUTER SKILLS:
3.2.1 Knowledge of EES information system preferred
3.2.2 Knowledge of word processing, data management, projects management, basic graphics, CAD, statistical analyses, and computer based process controllers (software and programming) preferred
3.3. EXPERIENCE:
3.3.1 Three to five years of experience in a manufacturing environment and/ or medical device industry preferred
