BASIC FUNCTION:
As testing engineer, he/she is responsible to execute the daily test and analysis of plastic materials, additives, fillers and samples provided by internal and external customer requirements, record the test results, draft test and analysis report, draft and update work instructions for equipment and method, maintain the test equipment at good running. Develop new test method as application required. Adhere to the lab management system. This position is specialized in recycle plastics testing and analysis.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1) a. Execute the daily test and analysis of polymer compounds, recycled plastics, additives, fillers and samples provided by internal and external customers.
b. Have a strong sensitivity to data, provide logic analysis and solution while abnormal occurs.
2) Provide credible test results clearly and timely base on professional operation and methods, to make sure all the test results correct and available, easy to be obtained and tracked. Draft the test report for the customer requirement.
3) a. Conduct daily check, intermedia check and regular calibration for the equipment, be able to independently maintain the equipment; to make sure equipment at good and reliable status for test and ensure all spare parts in control.
b. Draft the work instruction the new equipment operation and new method establishment, update all WI timely.
4) Develop and set up new test capability as R&D and business needs. Summarize the details for new capability establishment and deliver technical presentations at meetings.
5) Support on technical advice from testing and analytical side for project development.
6) Adhere to the lab management system and manage the process optimization work in her/his respective fields, assist on internal audit, management review and external accreditation.
7) Maintain good and proactive interaction with internal and external customers to understand requests and to give timely feedback.

Education:
1. Master degree in polymer materials, chemical analysis, or relative majors.

Work Experience:
1. 3-5 years of experience in polymer test and analysis, be skilled with FTIR spectral analysis, XRF application. Be familiar with GC-MS, HPLC, GPC operation and application.
2. Experience with polymer and recycled plastics composition analysis is a plus. Industrial knowledge of IATF16949 /ISO17025 is preferred

Languages:
1. Good technical reading/writing skills, both in English and Chinese.
