Job Description

Key accountabilities:
Merchandise Financial Planning Strategy
 Partner with Head of Merchandising to develop merchandise planning strategies and 5 year Long Range Plan
 Develop category sales and inventory plan for Greater China Omni Channels with topline, discount, ASP, WOC, sell in plan and related Sales KPIs / inventory KPIS
 Create annual promotion plan and align with channels for mechanism offering according to the latest forecast commitment
 Create newness injection open to buy plan and partner with Assortment Planning team on the range of offering
 Partner with Finance and Commercial partners on driving business initiatives

Business Management
 Drive trade action according to the WTD, MTD, QTD, YTD performance
 Provide business insight to drive proactive trade actions thought Data Analysis and reporting management including overall merchandise performance reports, promotion performance on category and special reports required
 Provide business insight and visibility with Global Merchandising team through daily operations and regular meeting inclusive GBR and OTB meeting
 Co-own with Assortment Planning team on competitive analysis, trend forecast and price structure
 Work with Assortment Planning team to understand on the assortment strength/weakness and identify short term and long term action plans
 Collaborate with demand planning team on inventory target setting adjustment according to the business trend
 Co-own with Assortment Planning team on product life-cycle management focus on discontinued and slow-moving inventory clean up
 Align the omni channel price and promotion strategy with the brand directly and create one consumer uniform experience across the Greater China POS

Team Management
 Lead and develop the team to be world-class buying experts and ensure the product strategy is well executed
 Review with the team on the bottom-up forecast approach with buying assumptions to make sure the business demand is met
