Overview
Ubiquant is an emerging hedge fund, fueled by prominence technology innovation, accelerating in expanding her operation across the global markets.
Our Network Engineers are responsible for designing and managing IDC and trading networks, optimizing latency, and ensuring reliability. As part of the engineering team, you will actively collaborate with other tech groups in designing, developing, and maintaining our highly comparative trading system, answering the call of trading teams, and exploring the limits of new technologies.
What you'll do
Collaborate with developers and quants to ensure our advantage and success in the market
Deploy, configure and monitor our network infrastructure
Constantly optimize network performance
Track and solve issues in fast-paced trading scenarios
We expect you to have
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Experience in the operating router, switcher, and firewall (e.g. Arista, Cisco)
Experience in designing and supporting L1/L2/L3 networks
Experience in troubleshooting TCP/UDP problems
Proficiency with scripting languages (e.g. python or bash) and ability to work on Linux systems
Knowledge of financial trading is not required but would be a big plus
