- Develop in-depth understanding of retail business. Champion the needs of retail stakeholders within Digital team (store managers, sales associate, back-of-house operations as well as retail excellence / retail operations teams from HQ). Scout innovative practices from retail industry as well as tech opportunities and constraints
- Develop a sharp vision of how digital tools can boost the performance of retail business: reinventing client experience in store, providing retail communities with the right tools etc. Define accordingly the digital products and experiences to be created
- For each product,
o Build the product vision, strategy and roadmap
o Create product specifications connecting with HQ & lead the design phase
o Prioritize and monitor timely delivery working in collaboration with Technology teams
o Provide visibility on the roadmap and delivery to stakeholders
o Drive the adoption through on-the-ground trainings & impactful training materials / communications
o Connect with users & track KPIs to feed and prioritize your product roadmap
o Enrich the product knowledge base (roadmap, product vision, strategy, KPIs board, artefacts...) and ensure information is updated with each new feature/release
- Build and track your own budget. Define business value KPIs and monitor ROI to prove product’s value
- Advocate for Digital Retail team within HQ & Digital teams. Support the change and transformation of retail business through products
Who you are
- Strong Experience in Product Management with proven qualifications. 8-10 of experience in total including 5 years of experience in BATX or digital ecosystem
- Proven track record of delivering large-scale digital initiatives from conception through completion.
- Passionate about retail world. Knowledge of Fashion or Luxury a plus
- User-focused and result-driven. Proven analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data to drive prioritization and business cases
- Mastering of agile methodologies
- Ability to seamlessly work across functional and organizational boundaries with a reputation for influencing and earning trust across levels and organizations (teams include Retail, Marketing/Communication, Ecommerce, IT/Operations, Legal etc.)
- Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams. Proficiency in multi-cultural environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills. Leadership / Team spirit / Collaborative mindset. Strong entrepreneurship and autonomy. Audacity.
- Proven ability to work with senior management
- Education: Bac+5 Master or equivalent. Graduated with a Business or Engineering master.
- Chinese speaking. English fluent (French or Italian a plus)
- Position based in Shanghai. To be started ASAP
