Responsible for:
⚫ To support in development, implementation and monitoring financial policies, 
systems, control procedures and reporting standard while onboarding new 
investments or portfolio companies in various real estate sectors (i.e. multifamily, 
storage, mixed use, hospitality, etc.)
⚫ To coordinate with project or outsourced finance team of several projects to ensure 
timely submission of their monthly, quarterly and annual reporting with quality.
⚫ To monitor the process for daily financial activities to ensure smooth functioning of 
property accounting, financial journal entries, account reconciliations and tax filing; 
⚫ To track and provide financial performance matrices and support to various 
departments and stakeholders, including variance against budget, cashflow 
managements, etc.; 
⚫ To work with various stake holders and provide support for the preparation for annual 
budget and 5-year business plan process; 
⚫ To assist as needed for bank account open for offshore SPV;
⚫ To collaborate and work together with internal departments and external 
stakeholders in various Brookfield organizations to ensure successful delivery of 
financial reporting and analysis.
⚫ To assist as needed with due diligence related to M&A, refinancing, development 
and re-development matters; 
⚫ To identify areas for process improvement and enhancement, to design and 
implement automation, standardization and efficiency improvement as needed; 
⚫ To work on ad-hoc requests and other value-added initiatives.
Qualifications / Experience/Skills
⚫ Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field required;
⚫ At least 4+ years of progressive work experience with a mix of public accounting and 
industry experience; experience in real estate is considered an asset; 
⚫ Professional accounting designation (CPA or CA) is a plus;
⚫ Proficient communication skills and interpersonal skills; able to interact professionally 
with all levels;
⚫ English (written) is required
⚫ Proficient in using MS Office with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and 
PowerPoint;
⚫ Hands-on team player who can set up and implement best practices and process 
improvement; 
⚫ Self-motivated and proactive, with respect to both managing workload and 
professional development;
