Purpose of the Position:
Support analysis for substrates and filters coming back from internal testing, customers testing & calibration, supply chain issues, or in field issues for heavy duty diesel engine applications.

Day to Day Responsibilities:
• Analyze substrate and filter part failure mode and root cause. Make test plan, execute the plan and generate failure analysis report for internal and external customers.
• Build and enhance capabilities in substrate and filters return parts analysis.
• Work closely with application engineering team on customer requirement, parts history and supporting needs. Communicate analysis result and report.
• Work closely with system engineer on vehicle testing for aftertreatment system validation and product development.
• Understand substrate and filter working principle. Understand aftertreatment technology to meet on road ChinaVI regulation requirement and non road China StageIV regulation. Understand diesel engine aftertement system calibration and validation aspect. Build knowledge in substrate/filter technology as well as understand coating and canning technology
• Technical communication with external customer and supply chain (coater, canner) based on project needs.
