Responsibilities
1. Execution of trade compliance regulations (local, U.S., UK, European trade compliance regulations and those imposed from Corporate) and developing compliance strategies
2. Work closely with the Trade Compliance team to funnel down communications
3. Facilitate and carry out training to the relevant personnel within the region
4. Maintain productive relationships with public regulators and other external stakeholders
5. Facilitate and support external audits and assessments and implement any required/necessary corrective actions
6. Lead periodic export self-assessments and implement any necessary corrective actions to ensure compliance with trade compliance regulation and internal policies
7. General Ethics & Compliance work

Qualifications
1. A master's degree in foreign trade, economic, law or related
2. 3+ years’ relevant professional experience in trade compliance
3. Detailed operational knowledge of Chinese regulations relating to export/import compliance matters
4. Detailed knowledge of foreign export laws and regulations, particularly, U.S. Export Administration Regulations (EAR); operational knowledge is a plus
5. Solid knowledge of the WTO tariff valuation rules and basic experience with assigning and maintaining tariff codes
6. Experience with an enterprise-class ERP system desirable (SAP / Oracle preferred) and Word, Excel and other standard office tools
7. Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills with the ability to communicate and interact at all levels and support decision making based on credible knowledge of international trade
8. Audit experience and experience in delivering internal training on trade compliance matters to relevant employees is beneficial
