Job Description
An Application Engineer is responsible for achieving a product design win at a customer. AE works with cross functional teams to ensure alignment on customer deliverables that support timely qualification start and successful completion.

Job responsibilities include
1. Aligning customer requirements with product specifications:
–Provide l technical support to customers on NAND application problems
–Drive cross-functional execution to resolve customer technical issues when needed
–Collect and sanitize information from engineering teams in order to provide answers to customer technical queries;
–Request, review and sanitize technical reports to external customers. Answer questions related to the reports.
–1st pass verification or validation of customer test and qualification system sequence and use cases, ensure company has the appropriate test and qual coverage, assist in setting up customer-like platform at company to validate product in a real system environment, collect system usage of product to verify it is working properly
–Determine the appropriate NAND solution to customers to address their system usage requirements.
–Provide new feature and design requests to the engineering team for consideration in future technologies
- Own reference usage model and reference design.

2. Documentation responsibilities :
–Request and review application notes based on customer use cases;
–Collect data from internal characterization and qual reports for final review of external datasheet provided to customer

3. training
–Provide regular technical training and updates to Field Application engineers, account managers and marketing managers on NAND datasheets, app notes, usage, qualifications, specs, bugs and bug fixes.

Qualifications
• BS or MSc in Electrical engineering, specialization in IC design is preffered
• Demonstrated ability to drive cross-functional execution of resolving customer technical issue
• Demonstrated ability to teach customers how to use NAND products in an Enterprise SSD product
• Demonstrated communication skills, proven ability to sanitize collateral from an engineering team to reconcile customers concerns with product
• Technically proficient with a practical mindset
• Demonstrated capability to work accross disciplines - Marketing, Sales, Product engineering
• Solid understanding of customer usage and qualification requirements
• Solid understanding of NAND product design, development & manufacturing
• 5yrs experience working with enterprise Hyper scale accounts
